LPDP-80-2000 Dual Polarized Log Periodic Antenna 80-2000MHz

Dual Polarized Log Periodic Antenna 80-2000MHz

LPDP-80-2000 dual polarized log periodic dipole antenna manufactured by Antenna experts are 100% in compliance with MIL-STD-810G parameters. Antenna Experts antenna systems provides passive dual polarized log periodic antenna in compact, versatile form factors that provide extreme wideband performance. The LPDP-80-2000 dual polarized log periodic dipole array are high gain array that provides strong performance over the operating frequency range of 80-20000 MHz as our dual polarized log periodic dipole antenna does not use loading technique to reduce the overall size of array.

The LPDP-80-2000 dual polarized tactical log periodic dipole antenna use 6063T6 ultra corrosion resistant architectural anodized aluminum alloy and designed to provide wideband directional transmission/reception of radio signals from 80-2000 MHz bands. The complete tactical dual polarized log periodic antenna is supplied with powder coating to protect it further from severe environmental conditions. The extra spacers are used between the support booms to improve mechanical durability of tactical dual polarized log periodic antenna.

The specially designed mounting arrangement of dual polarized log periodic antenna results in fast installation. The tactical dual polarized LP antenna can be assembled in less than 10 minutes. This tactical dual polarized log periodic dipole antenna system is particular suitable for transmission, reception, monitoring, scanning and jamming applications due to its broad band design feature, and small size and its capability of receiving/transmitting both E & H polarized signal simultaneously.

The LPDP-80-2000 assembled dual polarized log periodic antennas has removable elements, making it highly suitable for easy of shipping/carrying/transportation and handling. All elements of dual polarized log periodic antenna are supplied in two segments for easy of shipping and handling. The elements are attached via stainless fastener systems at points along the boom. The log periodic antenna operates at D.C. ground with low resistance discharge path for protection against lightning and immunity to noise. All the screws, nuts and bolts of dual polarized log periodic dipole antenna are made of stainless steel.

Our military grade LPDP-80-2000 dual polarized log periodic antenna is ideal for spectrum monitoring, surveillance, jamming and EMC applications due to its wide band design features. Our LPDP series 80-2000MHz dual polarized log periodic antenna generates high electric fields required for radiated immunity and emissions EMC test measurements, and features high gain, low VSWR, high power handling, broadband range, and a robust mechanical design. The extra spacers are used between the support booms to improve mechanical durability of dual polarized log periodic antenna.

Our LPDP-80-2000 dual polarized log periodic antennas are fully tested to the required specifications using a comprehensive range of calibrated test equipments. Radiation patterns, gain measurements and Antenna Factor are measured on our open area test site. Our Dual Polarized Log Periodic Antennas enable transmission/reception, or both, of RF signals simultaneously in two orthogonal polarizations. Our LPDP series dual polarized log periodic antennas are great for use in RF spectrum analysis, Ideal for Interference detection and surveillance application. Our dual polarized horn antennas provide excellent isolation between two ports. Our dual polarized log periodic dipole antennas can be used to obtain Circular Polarized operation with a suitable hybrid coupler.

Heavy duty dual polarized log periodic dipole antennas model LPDP-80-2000 manufactured by Antenna Experts are particular suitable for Signal Intelligence SIGINT application,Communication Intelligence COMINT application, Electronics Intelligence ELINT application, Electronic Warfare EW application, surveillance application, RCIED jamming, transmission, reception, spectrum monitoring and scanning applications due to its capability of receiving/transmitting both the vertical & horizontal (E & H) polarized signals simultaneously with 2 independently terminations. The dual polarized log periodic dipole array operates at D.C. ground with low resistance discharge path for protection against lightning and for immunity to noise. The dual polarized log periodic antenna can be supplied with customized mounting hardware. All our dual polarized log periodic antenna can be supplied with Antenna factor AF chart on request.

Also our LPDP-80-2000 high power rating dual polarized log periodic antenna can be used to generate Left Hand Circular Polarized (LHCP) or Right Hand Circular Polarized (RHCP) signals (field selectable) using 90 Degrees hybrid coupler (not supplied by us). If user connects these two feed lines (both terminations of array) directly to the quadrature hybrid output, the power delivered to each of orthogonal log periodic arrays will be 90 Degrees out of phase just like they came out of quadrature hybrid coupler. As a result of this user can generate switchable left hand or right hand circular polarized signals. The LPDP-80-2000 dual or cross polarized LPDA features high power handing capabilities, high efficiency, low VSWR and robust mechanical design to accommodate the most extreme environments condition.
